Do people really win cars?

Yeah right as if! I hear you cry. Pull the other one. There are many prize draws and competitions all over the Internet that offer you the chance to win a brand new car, but what's the catch? There's not one on Win4now.

Our car competitions usually run for a year and lucky for you right now, we have 3 choices of cars being drawn at the end of December which is only a just over a month away!

If you don't believe me that Win4now gives free cars away every year then you can ask 2 of our latest car prize draw winners:

Lisa &
John!

To win a car like Lisa & John did, just register on Win4now, enter to win a Mini, Ford Focus or Renault Clio and keep your fingers crossed that on the 31st of December 2009 we will pick your name 'out of the hat!'

Hmm which one would I go for? Mini's are super cool and fast but I couldn't fit my bikes in it, the Focus is a family classic but the Clio is so pretty. Hmm choices choices. *dreams about being the winner*

Good luck!

About us but in the past

I've just looked at Win4now's about us page and seen how out of date it is?!

It says that 'Win4now is a new competition site' but we have been providing our loyal members the chance to win loads of great prizes since 2002!
I've been working at Win4now since 2003 and have seen 100's and 100's of real people winning prizes here. All for free as there isn't any small print or catch to entering our prize draws.

Gotta dash, its time to update the 'about us' page before I forget for another 6 years!
ps. 6 years in one company, that's a massive cv record for me.

A message to our loyal members

We are having some difficulties on our sites due to one of our main database servers breaking. (Halloween weekend! I wonder if it's supernatural?!)

We are currently using a back up server, but this is not as fast so you might notice a delay when entering prize draws on the sites for the next few days. Your entries will still be submitted though so don't worry.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience and we want you to know that our technical team are working around the clock to get everything back up and working to full speed for you.

Thank you for your patience.

To be Orange or Not to be Orange?

That's the question on my mind right now.

Our beloved Win4now site has only ever evolved twice in the 7+ years it's been 'alive', so we think it's about time to give it a nip & tuck and new lease of life.

The question on every one's mind is whether to keep it as orange and bright as it is now or modernise it with whiteness? You our members had a split opinion last time we asked to loving the 'fun' colour scheme or loathing the 'gaudiness' of the orange.

What do you think we should do? Kill the orange or embrace it in mark 3?

PS. Good luck to Lucy our competition creator in your fitness exams this weekend! Fingers crossed.

Farewell Maciek!

It's Macieks (or 'Magic' as most of us pronounce his name!) last day at Win4now today.

Macieks main role is technical support and is a very popular guy in the office. We will sorely miss him but he's off to Berlin and we wish him & his family well for the future.

Bye bye & good luck from all of us at Win4now x

Sheep Competitions

Everyone and I mean everyone from 10 year old's to 80 year old's wants an iphone.
Why are they so desirable?
What makes them better than all the other phones on the market?
Or is it nothing? and they are the most popular because they are cool and everyone thinks the same?
Well done Apple for creating a masterpiece in a over saturated market and don't get me wrong, i'd also really love to win an iphone too BUT

don't be a sheep win4now'ers; open your mind, be an individual & the most important of reasons.....

INCREASE your winning odds by entering to win the LG viewty smart phone! I bet there will be less entries to win this phone than if we had an iphone on the site. So that's better for you!

Be smart, enter this competition on Win4now

Voucher codes quality

I used some of my voucher codes offers on Friday night but had mixed feelings about the quality of the offers received.

The first voucher was for free cocktails at a bar/restaurant called Olive in Sheffield and the service and quality was great. I could pick any cocktail with no price limit. Brilliant. I left a satisfied freebie hunter and would definitely go back now that I have had my free trial and spend my hard earn't cash. Consumer & voucher provider both happy.

The second voucher was for another cocktail offer at the posh west one complex (I can't remember it's name it's that memorable! ) and we were very disappointed. The cocktail pitcher was described as 'champagne' but was really cheapo fizzy rose wine with a sticky syrup. Nasty. Not only will we not go back, but we will also recommend others don't go there.

The moral of the story for me is that if a company is going to offer a freebie or prize make sure it's a good one.
Don't trick the consumer and don't offer us tat. It will subsequently have a negative branding effect.
