What was life like without Amazon again?

Can you remember what life was like without one of the Internet's biggest retail stores Amazon?
I'm a massive fan of Amazon from its book store beginning right through to cds, dvds, household goods to now the never ending product list! I can't think of much that you can't purchase from Amazon or its many selected sellers.

Anyway enough of me gushing about the mighty Amazon and back to the prizes!
