Cars Just Failed It's MOT

My mates just emailed me all flustered and upset that her cars just failed it's mot. I've told her, not to worry because there's plenty of options:

1. The government have just incentivised people to scrap their cars for cash.

2. Often fixing your car doesn't cost as much as you fear, especially if you opt for small garages and 2nd hand parts.

3. Use this act of fate to become greener (& save money) and start cycling to work, walking or using public transport.

4. Buy a Haynes manual and fix the car yourself? Bribing friends and family members to help if needed.
